Job summary

Fortress Nutrition, LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our Weekend Shift in Milwaukee, WI. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on high-speed beverage canning equipment to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires 3+ years in industrial maintenance, strong mechanical/electrical skills, and the ability to work Fri-Sun 6:00 AM–6:00 PM with hands-on training and safety compliance as priorities.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
3+ years of maintenance experience on high-speed equipment in manufacturing.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Reliable, flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment using mechanical and electrical knowledge.
Respond quickly to production line calls and minimize downtime.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
Support product setups, changeovers and general production operations.
Monitor equipment for unusual sounds, movements, or performance issues.
Conduct root cause analysis and coordinate with vendors as needed.
Disassemble and repair equipment, replace defective parts.
Perform minor facility repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Ensure GMP, HACCP, OSHA, FDA, EPA compliance.
Provide support to production teams and follow safety procedures.
