Job summary

Fortress Nutrition is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our fast-paced beverage canning operations on 1st shift. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to keep lines running and downtime to a minimum.

Ideal candidates have a strong mechanical and electrical background, English communication, and the flexibility to work overtime and be on-call. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
3+ years of maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing on high-speed equipment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Must be reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and be on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment using mechanical and electrical knowledge.
Respond quickly to production line calls and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
Support product setups, changeovers, and general production operations.
Monitor equipment for unusual sounds, movements, or performance issues.
Disassemble and repair equipment, replacing defective parts as required.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
