Job summary

Fortress Nutrition is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for the Weekend Shift to support high-speed beverage canning operations. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, aiming to minimize downtime and keep lines running smoothly.

The role offers a 3-day weekend schedule (Fri–Sun, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM) with 40 hours paid. Training is provided, and benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience on high-speed equipment in industrial manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and be on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment using mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Respond quickly to production line calls and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
• Support product setups, changeovers, and general production operations.
• Monitor equipment for unusual sounds, movements, or performance issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Disassemble and repair equipment, replacing defective parts as required.
• Perform minor facility repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and regulatory standards.
• Provide support to production teams and follow safety procedures.
