Job summary

SPX Technologies is hiring an Assembler in our Electric Heat division to build heater units and fabricate components per orders and engineering specs. You will work from diagrams, install and wiring controls, and perform tests to ensure quality. The role requires basic hands-on skills and a willingness to learn through on‑the‑job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training preferred.
• ASME brazing procedures certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lay out diagram for electrical installations according to wiring specifications.
• Drill and tap holes for mounting control units.
• Attach breakers, relays, connectors, bus bars, transformers, and insulators.
• Paint product as necessary.
• Install and wire thermostats and other options.
• Fabricate bussing and solder connections.
• Test and adjust electrical components.
• Discuss errors in diagrams or production order with supervision or engineering.
