Job summary

SPX Technologies is hiring an Assembler for our Electric Heat business, assembling heater unit product codes and fabricating components per work orders and specifications. The position focuses on electrical installations, wiring, and assembly tasks in a high-volume environment.

You will work with layouts, wiring diagrams, and engineering specs to ensure quality and accuracy, with opportunities to grow within a diverse team and receive competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• One to three months related experience and/or training.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Physically capable to stand and lift up to 25 pounds.
• ASME brazing procedures certification preferred (BPS-B1..BPS-B5).

Responsibilities

• Lay out diagrams for electrical installations per wiring specifications.
• Drill and tap holes for mounting control units.
• Attach breakers, relays, connectors, bus bars, transformers, and insulators.
• Paint products as necessary and install/wire Thermostats.
• Fabricate bussing and solder connections; test electrical components.
• Discuss errors in diagrams or production orders with supervision or engineering.
