SPX Technologies is seeking an Assembler in its Electric Heat division to assemble heater unit product codes and fabricate components per work order, blue print, and engineering specification.

You will lay out electrical installations, drill and tap mounting locations, attach breakers and relays, hydro test, paint, install thermostats, test electrical components, and address production questions with supervision or engineering.

Qualifications

• One to three months related experience and/or training.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Assemble heater unit product codes and fabricate components per work order, blue print, and engineering specification.
• Lay out diagram for electrical installations according to wiring specifications.
• Drills and taps holes in specified locations for mounting control units.
• Attaches breakers, relays, connectors, bus bars, transformers, and insulators.
• Hydro test per specification.
• Paints product as necessary.
• Installs and wires Thermostats and other options.
• Tests and adjusts electrical components.
• Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervision or engineering to clarify assembly problems.
