Job summary

Ivy Park at Cerritos is seeking a Driver to ensure the safe operation of community vehicles for outings and events. You will assist residents loading and unloading, uphold safety standards, and work with activity staff to support daily community life.

The role requires a valid Class B/C license with Passenger Endorsement, plus a clean background and health screening. Vocational duties include assisting with activities and maintaining a secure environment for all residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus.
• Prefer two years of experience driving vehicles transporting people.
• Written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and families.
• Pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (physical and TB).
• Vaccination/screening requirements may apply per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate community vehicles safely on outings and activities.
• Assist with loading residents and belongings onto/off vehicles.
• Follow state and federal driving laws and vehicle inspection standards.
• Ensure safety and security for staff, residents, and guests.
• Collaborate with activity staff during outings and within the community.
