Job summary

Ivy Park at Seal Beach, managed by Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a Driver to safely operate community vehicles and supervise residents during outings. The role includes loading residents, ensuring safety, and supporting activities within the community.

Applicants must be at least 21, hold a Class B or C license with Passenger Endorsement, and pass background checks and health screenings. Per policy, vaccination/testing and PPE may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class B or C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus.
• Prefer two years’ experience driving a vehicle/van/bus transporting people.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and families.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests.
• Vaccination/testing/PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate community vehicles safely on outings, excursions, and appointments.
• Assist with loading residents and belongings onto/off vehicles.
• Follow state and federal driving laws and vehicle inspection standards.
• Demonstrate safe driving and timely transportation of residents.
• Act as a member of the activity staff on outings and in the community.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork with coworkers and other departments.
