Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living in Cerritos, CA is seeking a Driver for weekend shifts (Sat-Sun, 9am-5:30pm). The role requires a Class B/C license with Passenger Endorsement and a clean background. Candidates should have strong customer service skills and be able to transport residents safely.

Paid hourly between $20.00 and $21.00, with benefits typical for Oakmont communities. Health and safety protocols are followed to protect residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive bus.
• Prefer two years of experience driving a vehicle transporting people.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Operate community vehicles safely on outings, excursions, and resident appointments.
• Assist with loading residents and belongings onto/off of vehicles.
• Follow state and federal laws when operating community vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections and demonstrate safe driving, staying punctual and safe.
• Act as a member of the activity staff during outings and within the community.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
