Job summary

Ivy Park at Mission Viejo, part of Oakmont Management Group, is hiring a part-time Driver to safely operate community vehicles and supervise residents on outings. The position supports activities and events in the community in alignment with our mission and values.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), 21+ years old, and a Class B or C license with Passenger Endorsement. Prior driving experience with people is preferred; strong customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus.
• Prefer two years of experience driving a vehicle/van/bus transporting people.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate community vehicles safely on outings, excursions, special activities, and personal resident appointments.
• Assist with the safe loading of residents and their belongings onto and off-of-community vehicles.
• Follow all state and federal laws when operating community vehicles.
• Comply with standards and processes for proper vehicle inspection and driving.
• Act as a member of the activity staff when on outings/excursions and within the community.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
