Job summary

OPS Security Group is seeking professional Enhanced Security Officers for a people-facing security role at the Hope Center in New Castle, DE. This position requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle high-interaction environments while maintaining safety and security standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring, access control, patrolling, CCTV surveillance, incident reporting, and resident intake support.

Qualifications

• Valid Delaware Red Card required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Previous security, military, law enforcement, concierge, or service industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
• Basic computer knowledge (email, reports, Microsoft Office, etc.)
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and OPS training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor property and report suspicious activity.
• Perform ingress/egress and access control procedures.
• Conduct walking patrols throughout the property.
• Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems.
• Respond to emergencies, incidents, and alarms.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Assist with resident intake and screening processes.
• Enforce curfew and facility policies.
• De-escalate conflicts and maintain a professional presence.
• Build positive rapport with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Perform additional security duties as assigned.
