Job summary

OPS Security Group is seeking professional Enhanced Security Officers for the Hope Center in New Castle, DE. This on-site, full-time role focuses on high-interaction environments, requiring strong communication and safety standards.

Shifts are Fri and Sat from 11pm to 7am. Applicants must have a valid Delaware Red Card, relevant security experience, and the ability to pass background, drug screening, and OPS training requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Delaware Red Card required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and OPS training requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor property and report suspicious activity
• Perform ingress/egress and access control procedures
• Conduct walking patrols throughout the property
• Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems
• Respond to emergencies, incidents, and alarms
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports
• Assist with resident intake and screening processes
• Enforce curfew and facility policies
• De-escalate conflicts and maintain a professional presence
• Build positive rapport with residents, staff, and visitors
• Perform additional security duties as assigned
