Kenansville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Kenansville, NC is hiring an RN Weekend Unit Manager for Saturdays and Sundays. The role oversees nursing care on shift, including accurate medication administration, treatments, and documentation, while supervising staff and safeguarding residents’ welfare.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN or LPN license in the state.
• CPR certification required.
• One year nursing experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees nursing care/ service on shift, including meds, treatments and documentation.
• Supervises CNAs and staff; ensures assignments are completed.
• Gives and receives shift reports and monitors resident safety.
• Maintains infection control and safety precautions.
• Communicates changes in residents' condition to physicians and families.
