Job summary

Arbors at Sylvania is seeking a part‑time Unit Manager Registered Nurse to direct the daily operations of a nursing unit in a long‑term care facility. You will lead staffing, ensure high quality resident care, and collaborate with physicians as needed.

The role requires an RN license, a nursing degree preferred, and at least three years of nursing experience with one year in a long‑term care setting. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing, degree preferred.
• RN license (state requirements) and active licensure.

Responsibilities

• Direct the entire operation of a nursing unit in a long‑term care facility.
• Recruit, discipline and evaluate staff; plan meetings to address resident care issues.
• Monitor staffing and census; ensure quality care and budget controls.
• Coordinate physician interventions and ensure timely medical actions.
• Oversee QA programs and staff orientation and development.
