Job summary

A healthcare organization located in Cedar Grove is hiring a Part-Time Weekend RN Supervisor for 7am–3pm, 3pm–11pm, and 11pm–7am shifts. Candidates must be able to work 2 weekends per month and should possess a current New Jersey Registered Nurse License. Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, conducting rounds, and providing education. Qualifications

• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
• Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift.
• Conduct nursing rounds on each unit multiple times throughout the shift.
• Provide education to staff, residents and family members.
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License
• Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
• Directly supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care.
• Conduct nursing rounds on each unit multiple times throughout the shift.
• Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members.
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator.
