Job summary

Complete Care at Cedar Grove is hiring a Registered Nurse- RN Supervisor for full-time daytime and weekend shifts in Cedar Grove, NJ. Supervise nursing staff, monitor medications and patient care, and ensure compliance with regulations. Associates or BSN required, NJ RN license, long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide education to staff, residents, and resident families as needed.
• Ensure staff perform duties in line with state and federal guidelines.

* Candidates must be available to work 2 weekends per month.

Registered Nurse-RN Supervisor Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License
• Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
• Directly supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care.
• Conduct nursing rounds on each unit multiple times throughout the shift.
• Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members.
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator.
• Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN may be considered
