Job summary

Fairview Rehab and Care Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor to lead clinical operations on weekend shifts in Philadelphia, PA. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure high-quality resident care, and maintain regulatory compliance during peak demand periods.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, clinical judgment, and effective communication within a fast-paced long-term care setting. This position is based on-site with weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania is required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Strong leadership, clinical judgment, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and support weekend nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs).
• Oversee delivery of resident-centered care per orders and care plans.
• Serve as primary clinical leader and weekend point of contact.
• Address clinical issues and emergencies promptly.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize weekend operations.
• Coordinate staffing and assignments for weekend workflow.
• Contribute to QA, infection control, and performance improvement.
