Job summary

Accela Rehab and Care Center at Somerton in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to lead a nursing team and coordinate patient care on 12-hour shifts every other weekend (7a–7pm).

You will guide staff, ensure high-quality care, maintain regulatory compliance (HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid), and participate in ongoing education. The role emphasizes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and patient education.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Pennsylvania RN license.
• Ability to supervise a team and coordinate care.
• Availability to work every other weekend, 12-hour shifts (7a-7pm).

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of nursing staff, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality patient care
• Coordinate patient care activities, including developing and implementing patient care plans
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including HIPAA and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with latest clinical practices
• Collaborate with inter disciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Provide patient education and support to patients and their families
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records
