Job summary

HMG Healthcare is seeking a Weekend Supervisor - RN to ensure high-quality nursing care on weekend shifts and oversee clinical operations. You will coordinate nursing staff, address patient needs, and act as a liaison between clinical teams and administration across our Texas facilities.

The role requires an active TexasRN license, BLS, and at least two years of nursing experience with leadership exposure. You will drive safety, compliance, and positive patient outcomes while supporting staff

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in Texas.
• Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff during weekend shifts to ensure effective patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and intervene to maintain high standards of care and safety.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, facility policies, and QA protocols.
• Provide mentorship and support to nursing staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Communicate with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to plan care.
• Manage staffing assignments and scheduling to maintain weekend coverage.
• Document and report clinical incidents and patient progress to senior management.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training programs.
