Job summary

HMG Healthcare in Texas is seeking a Weekend Supervisor - RN for Friendship Haven to lead nursing care during weekend shifts, oversee clinical operations, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

The role requires an active Texas RN license, a minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience, demonstrated supervisory ability, and BLS certification. You will mentor staff, coordinate patient care, and act as a liaison with patients and families to uphold safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in Texas.
• Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare environment.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities during weekend shifts to ensure effective patient care delivery.
• Monitor patient conditions and intervene as necessary to maintain high standards of clinical care and safety.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, facility policies, and quality assurance protocols.
• Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to address concerns and facilitate care planning.
• Manage staffing assignments and resolve scheduling issues to maintain adequate coverage throughout the weekend.
• Document and report clinical incidents, patient progress, and operational challenges to senior management.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training programs to enhance care delivery.
