Aperion Care Bloomington is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for weekend shifts to provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants. The role emphasizes leadership, patient safety and quality care in a long-term care setting.

You will administer medications, document care, participate in rounds with physicians, and ensure compliance with regulations while maintaining a warm, respectful environment for residents and staff.

Qualifikationen

• Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state licensure.
• Licensed Practical Nurse with current unencumbered state licensure.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and plan shift services.
• Complete & file required charting and order forms; transcribe physician orders.
• Prepare & administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop and maintain rapport with inter-departmental staff to ensure quality care.
• Perform IV therapy and site care as needed.
• Monitor staff for safety and compliance with equipment use.
• Maintain resident care confidentiality and privacy.
• Provide IV site care as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
