Job summary

Sapphire Shores Health and Rehab is seeking a dynamic RN Weekend Supervisor to lead our nursing team during 16-hour weekend shifts. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership to ensure exceptional patient care across short-term rehab, long-term care, and respite services.

Key responsibilities include supervising staff, managing assessments and documentation, coordinating care plans for complex patients, and ensuring HIPAA compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and current state registration.
• BLS certification required; ACLS or PALS preferred.
• Extensive ICU/critical care or trauma background; supervisory experience valued.
• Familiarity with PCC EMR and medical documentation standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for team coordination.
• Weekend 16-hour shift supervision and care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff during weekend shifts, providing guidance and feedback.
• Oversee patient assessments, vital signs, and documentation in PCC EMR.
• Coordinate care plans for complex patients (dementia, geriatrics).
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient safety policies.
• Administer medications, injections, IVs, and venipuncture as needed.
• Lead clinical evaluations and documentation for quality care.
• Lead incident investigations and emergency response activities.
