Job summary

Eastern Health Group seeks a Weekend RN Supervisor to oversee nursing care and staff on assigned shifts in a nursing home setting.

The role ensures quality care, regulatory compliance, and efficient resident services while mentoring nurses and coordinating care plans with the care team.

Candidates should hold an active VA RN license, BSN preferred, 2–3 years in geriatric or long-term care, CPR/BLS, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Virginia is required.
• BSN preferred or higher degree.
• 2–3 years of nursing experience in long-term care or geriatrics.
• Supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical and administrative nursing functions during shifts.
• Lead RNs, LPNs, CNAs; provide mentoring and support.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate documentation.
• Coordinate care plans and respond to emergencies.
