Job summary

You will supervise the facility, direct the nursing staff during shifts, and assist the Director of Nursing in coordinating Nursing Services while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The position requires NC RN licensure, CPR certification, and a commitment to geriatric care in a caring environment.

This role includes on-call duties and documentation of actions, with opportunities to contribute to quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with NC Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification required yearly.
• Experience supervising nursing staff.
• Geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise facility nursing staff during shifts ensuring quality patient care.
• Direct the Nursing Services Department in coordination with the Director of Nursing.
• Supervise nursing services in compliance with Nursing Practice Act and regulations.
• Assist nurses with patients during acute episodes as needed.
• Address employee issues promptly and document actions.
• Assume on-call responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
