Job summary

Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an RN Supervisor to oversee nightly and weekend staffing, coordinate patient care, and supervise licensed and ancillary staff. The role focuses on geriatric and short-term rehabilitation services with emphasis on safety, documentation, and collaborative care planning.

Responsibilities include supervising unit activities, responding to patient needs, adminstering medications, and leading emergency responses while maintaining accurate records

Qualifications

• RN license in New York state
• Geriatric/short-term rehab experience preferred
• Progressive nursing experience in geriatric settings, supervisory experience desirable
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to emergencies

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned unit activities and staff assignments
• Identify and respond to patient needs in a timely manner
• Monitor and document vital signs, treatments, and patient responses
• Administer medications and treatments as needed
• Communicate with interdisciplinary team, physicians, residents, families, and staff
• Lead emergency situations and maintain accurate nursing reports and census roster
