Apple Rehab Coccomo, a 100-bed skilled nursing community in Meriden, CT, seeks an RN Supervisor to oversee nursing services. Weekend on-call and post shifts are required; compensation includes a $55 hourly rate for 3-11 float supervisor, with weekend-only options and no weekday schedule.

Responsibilities include planning, supervising, and coordinating care per regulations, with collaboration with the Nursing Director and medical staff to ensure top-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current state RN license in good standing.
• Experience in a supervisory capacity is required or strongly preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Knowledgeable of long-term care regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee nursing services for residents while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Supervise daily nursing activities to ensure high-quality care.
• Collaborate with Nursing Director on operations and emergency support.
• Coordinate nursing activities with medical directives and care plans.
• Direct charge nurses to ensure proper resident care.
• Adjust care plans with medical staff to address emergencies.
• Act as on-duty supervisor when leadership is unavailable.
• Ensure relief staff coverage and notify physicians of significant changes.
