Job summary

Apple Rehab Coccomo in Meriden, CT seeks an RN Registered Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing services and ensure compliant, compassionate care for residents. The position offers a 3-11 free float supervisor role with part-time or full-time options; weekends are not required, and per diem is welcome.

Walk-in interviews are held Tue–Fri 10am–4pm. Compensation is $55 hourly, with benefits for 30+ hours. Join a family-oriented, community-rooted organization committed to excellence in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current state RN license and be a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Must have previous supervisory experience.
• Attention to detail, good follow through skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• The RN Supervisor demonstrates cooperation in assisting others and ability to work as a team.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable of rehabilitative/restorative nursing practices and LTC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee, and execute nursing services while complying with regulations.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities to ensure high-quality care.
• Collaborate with Nursing Director on operations and emergency support.
• Coordinate nursing activities with medical requirements and care plans.
• Manage and direct charge nurses to ensure proper care.
• Adjust care plans with medical staff for emergencies.
• In absence of superiors, RN Supervisor makes operating decisions as needed.
• Ensure adequate relief staff and inform physicians of significant changes.
