Job summary
Apple Rehab Coccomo in Meriden, CT, is seeking an RN Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead our 3pm-11pm shift. The role oversees nursing services, ensures regulatory compliance, and collaborates with the Nursing Director to maintain high-quality resident care.
The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, has supervisory experience, and demonstrates attention to detail and teamwork. Weekend on-call is required; benefits and competitive compensation are offered.
Qualifications
- Must hold current state RN license and be in good standing.
- Experience in supervisory roles preferred.
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations and guidelines.
- Ability to coordinate with Nursing Director and medical staff.
- Weekend on-call availability required.
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise nursing services for residents.
- Oversee day-to-day nursing activities to ensure quality care.
- Collaborate with Nursing Director on operations and emergency planning.
- Coordinate activities with physicians and care plans.
- Direct charge nurses and adjust care plans as needed.
- Ensure relief staff coverage and notify physicians of changes.
- Make operating decisions when supervisors are unavailable.
- Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations.
