Job summary

Apple Rehab West Haven is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing operations at our West Haven, CT facility. This role requires weekend on-call availability and two weekend shifts monthly; compensation is based on experience with a rate of $60 per hour.

Responsibilities include planning and supervising nursing services, coordinating with the Nursing Director, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements while delivering compassionate, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

Must hold a current state RN license and be in good standing.
Experience in a supervisory capacity is required.
Long-term care knowledge and familiarity with rehabilitative nursing practices.
Ability to lead and coordinate nursing teams across shifts.

Responsibilities

Plan, oversee, and execute nursing services for residents while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Supervise day-to-day nursing activities to guarantee consistent, high-quality care.
Collaborate with the Nursing Director to strategize operations and emergency support provisions for shifts.
Coordinate nursing activities with medical requirements and physician directives.
Direct charge nurses to ensure residents receive proper care and timely interventions.
