PowerBack Rehabilitation in Parkersburg, WV is seeking an RN Nurse Manager to lead weekend clinical operations with 24-hour accountability. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance across units.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, coordinating staffing and budgeting, and driving quality improvement while ensuring safe discharge planning and strong collaboration with medical teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Current license by the State Board of Nursing is required.
• Minimum three years full-time clinical experience; two years in long-term care nursing with supervisory/administrative experience preferred.
• Must read/write/speak English to ensure patient safety.
• Must provide verification of TB test as required by state law.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekend operations with 24-hour accountability in collaboration with the DON.
• Mentor and guide nursing staff; ensure effective communication between shifts and departments.
• Oversee staffing, budgeting, and performance evaluations; support promotions and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards; promote safety and quality improvement.
• Coordinate discharge planning with other departments and ensure medical staff collaboration.
