PowerBack Rehabilitation in Hurricane, WV is seeking a Unit Manager - RN to oversee a nursing unit, ensure high-quality, cost-effective care, and achieve positive clinical outcomes. You will align care delivery with the center's mission, policies, and regulatory standards.

Work closely with the Director of Nursing, mentor staff, coordinate with physicians, manage medication supplies, and provide direct patient care as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Three years of nursing experience (COULD be substituted by BSN with two years).
• At least one year of nurse leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage.
• Participate with interdisciplinary team to achieve patient goals and minimize rehospitalizations.
• Mentor and educate nurses and coordinate with physicians and staff.
• Oversee medication management to ensure supplies and policy compliance.
• Provide direct patient care along with unit nurses to maintain skills.
