West Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Philadelphia is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor to join our 176-bed facility. You will supervise a team of RNs, LPNs/LVNs, and CNAs on weekends, oversee rounds, and ensure high-quality resident care while maintaining regulatory compliance.

As part of the role, you will collaborate with the Director of Nursing, develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and provide staff

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care on weekends
• Conduct rounds to assess patient care and provide guidance to staff as needed
• Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
• Provide education to staff and residents on various topics, including resident rights, medication management, and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports, adhering to regulatory standards and West Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center policies
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and other leaders to identify and address staffing needs, as well as develop and implement staffing strategies to ensure optimal care delivery
