Job summary

Sunnyvale Post Acute in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an experienced RN Weekend Supervisor for Saturday and Sunday AM shifts with additional 2–3 weekday PM shifts. This part-time role focuses on clinical leadership and hands-on guidance during weekend operations to maintain resident care standards.

You will supervise weekend staff, oversee admissions and assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with families, physicians, and the clinical team to deliver high-quality post-acute care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post‑acute rehab setting.
• Prior nursing leadership or supervisory experience.
• Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and coordinate the weekend nursing staff (LVNs, CNAs) to ensure seamless facility operations.
• Resident Care Management: Oversee patient admissions, discharges, and clinical assessments; respond promptly to emergencies or significant changes in condition.
• Compliance & Quality: Monitor treatments, medication administration, and documentation to verify strict adherence to federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for families, physicians, and staff during weekend shifts, fostering open communication and a positive facility culture.
