Job summary

Sunnyvale Post Acute in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor to lead the clinical team during Saturday and Sunday shifts. The role involves hands-on guidance, staff mentoring, ensuring high-quality resident care, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a California RN license, have at least 2 years in a SNF or post-acute setting, and possess prior supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or post-acute rehab setting.
• Prior supervisory experience in a nursing leadership role.
• Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays consistently.

Responsibilities

• Clinical leadership: supervise weekend nursing staff (LVNs, CNAs) to ensure smooth facility operations.
• Resident care management: oversee admissions, discharges, and clinical assessments; respond promptly to emergencies.
• Compliance & quality: monitor treatments, medication administration, and documentation to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Collaboration: act as the weekend point of contact for families, physicians, and staff.
