Job summary
Sunnyvale Post Acute is seeking an experienced RN Weekend Supervisor to lead our clinical team on Saturdays and Sundays in Sunnyvale, CA.
You will provide hands-on nursing leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor weekend staff, oversee admissions and assessments, and coordinate with physicians to maintain the highest standard of resident care. The role requires active California RN licensure and at least two years in SNF or post-acute settings, with a proven supervisory background.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted California RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute rehab setting.
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.
Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend nursing staff (LVNs, CNAs) to ensure smooth facility operations.
- Oversee admissions, discharges, and clinical assessments; respond to emergencies.
- Monitor treatments, medications, and documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Serve as primary contact for families, physicians, and staff during weekend shifts.
