• Manage documentation: transcribe orders, complete assessments, maintain records.
• Lead shift communication: participate in shift reports and inform staff of care needs.
• Ensure compliance: enforce infection control and safe work practices.
• Respond to staffing needs: coordinate coverage for shortages.
• Oversee incidents: investigate variances, contact families, complete reports.
• Manage lab work: monitor lab orders, results, and follow-up.
