Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a part-time RN to join the Float Pool, providing coverage across Swedish inpatient units in Chicago, IL. This weekend-only role offers day or night shifts (7:00 am–7:00 pm and 7:00 pm–7:00 am) with premium pay and differential for Resource Team responsibilities.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of acute care inpatient RN experience, Illinois licensure, CPR, and flexibility to work across units.

Qualifications

At least one year of experience as an acute care inpatient RN.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Current Illinois Nursing licensure.
American Heart Association CPR Certification.
ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required within six months depending on unit requirements.

Responsibilities

Float across Swedish inpatient units and report to the Clinical Nurse Manager of the Resource Team, with dual support from site-based clinical nurse managers.
Provide high quality, individualized, goal-directed care for all patient levels and their families.
Maintain safety and standards in all nursing practices and documentation.
Integrate evidence-based practice and research findings into nursing care.
Guide and supervise nursing staff and promote professional development.
