Job summary
Endeavor Health in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Float Pool (Resource Team). This part-time role requires working every weekend, with day or night shifts, 7:00 am–7:00 pm or 7:00 pm–7:00 am, and entails floating to inpatient units at Swedish Hospital.
Resource Team RNs receive a differential and applicable shift pay, with competitive base pay. Illinois nursing licensure and BLS/CPR are required, ACLS/PALS/NRP may be needed within six months depending on unit
Qualifications
- Requires at least one year of experience as an acute care inpatient RN.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Illinois Nursing licensure.
- CPR Certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required within six months.
- Ability to float across inpatient units as needed.
Responsibilities
- Float across Swedish inpatient units as part of the Resource Team.
- Provide high-quality, individualized nursing care per hospital standards.
- Document care thoroughly and timely.
- Adhere to nursing process: assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate.
- Support staff and mentor peers as needed.
- Promote safety and emergency readiness.
