Job summary

Dentrust Optimized Care Solutions seeks Registered Nurses to partner as independent contractors serving military service members in Texas. We primarily operate on weekends with some weekday coverage under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP).

Roles include performing health assessments, reviewing histories and medical records, and interviewing personnel to identify current and prior concerns, including behavioral health, with documentation in the medical record.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited registered nursing program.
• CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical RN experience.
• Unrestricted RN license in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States.
• Capacity to handle high-stress situations and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need immediate attention, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
