Job summary

DOCS Health in Austin, TX is seeking Registered Nurses to join as independent contractors delivering health readiness services to military service members.

Most work on weekends with occasional weekday shifts under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) in Texas, performing health assessments, reviewing histories, and documenting results.

Requires an ASN/BSN, CPR and BLS, 2 years RN experience, and an unrestricted license; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited registered nursing program.
• Certification: CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical RN experience.
• Unrestricted RN license in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
