Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital in Rocky Mount, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for weekend days in the Eastern Region Float Pool. The role covers inpatient needs across CFMH and CRBH in Lexington, with support for Med/Surg and ICU units.

This full-time weekend position requires BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required based on unit. EPIC EMR skills are essential, and Virginia RN licensure is required or eligible.

Qualifications

Graduate of school of professional nursing of an accredited college or graduate of an approved program eligible to sit for the VA licensure exam.
Current Virginia RN licensure or eligibility to obtain Virginia RN licensure.
AHA BLS-HCP required. May be required to obtain/maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP based on specific work unit.
Computer skills required for electronic medical record (EPIC).

Responsibilities

Provide nursing coordination and individualized patient care for all ages.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimum outcomes.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update age-specific care plans.
Assist with orientation and education activities for staff and new employees.

Education
