Job summary

Twin County Regional Healthcare in Galax, Virginia, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Float Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced float pool across multiple units. This full-time night position runs 7p-7a with rotating weekends and requires an active VA or compact RN license along with BLS; ACLS, PALS within 6 months.

You will coordinate care using the Nursing Process, serve patients from infants to geriatrics, and work with Paragon EMR and other hospital systems to support efficient care

Qualifications

• Active VA or compact RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS within 6 months of hire; TNCC preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in Critical Care, ED, PACU or similar.
• On-call response within 60 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate care per hospital policies.
• Apply Nursing Process: Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation.
• Care for patients across all ages.
• Operate Paragon EMR and related systems.
