MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA is seeking a registered nurse for weekend shift with a sign-on bonus starting at $10,000. You will deliver patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team, using the nursing process and standards of practice to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires Iowa RN licensure (or multi-state), an ADN or diploma, BSN preferred, and acute care experience. Day-1 benefits apply and a generous PTO program; weekend pay differentials are included.

Qualificações

• Current RN licensure in Iowa or qualified multi-state license required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate from an accredited RN program required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Previous experience in acute care preferred.
• Preferred certification in related clinical specialty (Magnet approved).
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet department needs.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented with minimum supervision.
• Must provide proof of BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross) prior to employment or within 60 days.
• Completes Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse within 6 months of hire and renews every 5 years.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses and evaluates patient needs and documents responses.
• Develops and implements patient care plan and discharge planning.
• Guides and directs patient care activities using evidence-based practice.
• Provides daily direction to Licensed Practical Nurse and Nurse Assistant.
• Provides and/or implements learning opportunities to meet educational needs.
