Riverside Community Care is seeking a Respite Counselor for weekend shifts in an acute care residence. The role provides guidance, education, supervision and direct supports to help individuals maintain health and safety, while promoting skills for independent living within the community.

Two weekend scheduling options are available: Saturday-Sunday from 7am–3pm, or 3pm–11pm, with pay differentials for education level.

Formación

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in mental health, crisis intervention, or respite services is a plus.
• Ability to work as part of a team and support adults in community-based settings.

Responsabilidades

• Provide guidance, education, supervision and direct supports to consumers to maintain physical and emotional health and to live safely in the community.
• Assist with crisis or situational stabilization and care coordination as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Support consumers in developing skills toward independent living and return to community living.

Educación
