Job summary

Bethany Center For Rehabilitation and Healing in Smyrna, TN seeks a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join a skilled nursing team. The candidate must be licensed (RRT or CRT) in the state, able to evaluate and treat independently, and dedicated to geriatric care.

Responsibilities include assessments, initiating therapies, and maintaining records. Experience with tracheostomy and long-term care is preferred; the role requires collaboration with nursing staff and IDT meetings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC-accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to progress rehab patients in various conditions.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Complete a variety of bedside treatments.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care setting.
• Follow facility procedures and protocols; complete tracking, auditing and caseload management.
