Job summary

Bethany Center For Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The candidate should be licensed in the state of practice, able to evaluate and treat independently, and dedicated to geriatric care.

Responsibilities include bedside treatments, initiating therapies, documenting progress, and participating in IDT meetings. Prior tracheotomy experience and LTC setting experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques for rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and check equipment.
• Complete a variety of bedside treatments and document daily, weekly and monthly.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings and participate in staff education quarterly.
• Maintain tracking, auditing and caseload management.
