Job summary

Bethany Center For Rehabilitation and Healing in Green Hill, TN seeks a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. Responsibilities include patient assessments, initiating therapies, maintaining records, and providing bedside treatments in a geriatric setting.

Active state license as RRT or CRT and BLS are required. Experience with tracheostomy and long-term care environments is preferred; dedication to resident well‑being is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC-accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT in the practicing state.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to progress rehab patients with various illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Provide bedside treatments and complete nursing in-services quarterly.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly documentation and attend IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheostomy and long-term care settings; follow facility procedures.
• Perform tracking, auditing and caseload management; fulfill related duties.
• Refer to Departmental Policy for specifics on respiratory interventions (e.g., oxygen weaning, CPAP/BiPAP, chest physiotherapy).
