Job summary

Bethany Center For Rehabilitation and Healing in Nashville, TN is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The candidate should be licensed in the state, able to evaluate and treat independently, and passionate about geriatric care.

Responsibilities include completing assessments, initiating therapies, maintaining records, bedside treatments, staff education, and participating in IDT meetings. Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state of practice; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to maintain and progress the rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment
• Complete a variety of bedside treatments
• Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter
• Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentation
• Attend applicable IDT meetings
