Job summary

Nashville Center For Rehabilitation and Healing in Smyrna, TN is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our geriatric-focused team. The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat residents independently, possess a state license as RRT or CRT, and provide a wide range of respiratory interventions in a skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities include completing assessments, initiating therapies, maintaining documentation, participating in IDT meetings, and delivering bedside treatments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program and licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state of practice with BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques for rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and check equipment.
• Perform bedside treatments and quarterly in-services for nursing staff.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly documentation and participate in IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care setting.
