Job summary

Bethany Center For Rehabilitation and Healing in Smyrna, TN seeks a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join a skilled nursing team. The RT will evaluate and treat residents independently, participate in interdisciplinary care, and perform a broad range of respiratory therapies to support geriatric patients.

Candidate must hold COARC-accredited AS or BS in Respiratory Care and be licensed as RRT or CRT in the practice state, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory techniques for rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Perform bedside treatments and document daily/weekly/monthly.
• Attend IDT meetings and coordinate with nursing staff.
